I just helped another woman with her lug nuts on the side of the road. They were so over-torqued that the entire stud broke off one and another lug nut stripped. Over 150 lbs of force wouldn't budge them for a car that only needed 85 lbs.

I always thought automakers were making a mistake for going full out BEVs instead of offers more models of PHEVs. With limited public charging most people that don't own a home with a place to charge overnight will completely avoid BEVs. Giving people the option to run on electricity or gas in the same vehicle was always the better choice. Plus giving buyers vehicles that don't cost $100,000 the people running these companies seem to completely ignore the vast majority of their customers.

This reminds me of my first car, I was born in 93 but bought a 2002 a6 4.2 when I was 18 and it was the coolest car I’ve ever had. The big chrome dinner plate wheels and the flared wheel arches made it so menacing. It was super reliable and beautiful. No other car has ever lived up to it.

Hi I have a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe it's my everyday transportation bought it brand new. I watch MotorWeek every Saturday, I always want to see the video where they test driving the Tahoe and the suburban.

i have a 2003 GX 470 with 350k, still running silky smooth.

We were Steve Dinan's So-Cal distributor and did more than a few turbo conversions on the earlier E-28 as well as these E-34's. They ran very, VERY, well. The weak point were the brakes. Back then, Steve came up with a front brake conversion which consisted of Chevy Corvette Z1 calipers/rotors up front. Didn't much matter with 480+ HP shoving around all that weight. 0-60 times were in the 4.7 sec range with 100 coming up at around 9.6 onto a time-to-distance top end of 171 MPH. Pretty heady stuff in the 90's. The binders would 'cook' with the pedal dropping to the floor. Handling was quite good with the Stage 4 suspension which completely revamped everything from shocks to revised 'pick up' points. Fuel mileage?....really?...Well, if you must. At full song at 'willow springs' we found the car to become more neutral as the 22 gallons was eagerly guzzled. The real mileage hovered about 5.3 miles per gallon , albeit - that was 'boost heavy'. Judicious throttle application netted roughly 10-13. Fun cars.

Insane that a base model X6 has on par 1/4 mile times and acceleration as the 2013 X5M E70 with a 4.4tt and 555hp.

Automatic braking: been in the computer industry for almost four decades, with friends in the sensor industry for just as long. The idea that these industries are up to this task is utterly laughable. Just highlights government stupidity (or maybe shows who's getting bribes.)

Unless the market growth of EVs is consistent and doesn't drop off with or without 🤔 more infrastructure, being a pure EV maker won't be profitable, and layoffs will be inevitable. European reduced their workforce to offset EV development costs, and now Tesla, through reduced sales. Long live the hybrids and PHEVs.

Stellantis products are stacking on the lots no matter the price range 😅.
